Healthcare for Life Recommendations: Senior Feline
EXAMS:
Complete Physical Exam every 6 months. Includes behavior counseling, nutritional analysis, and oral exam, risk assessment for congenital and inherited diseases and complete recommendations for wellness.
VACCINATIONS:
- Vaccination for Feline Distemper Virus, Feline Calici Virus, and feline Rhinotracheitis Virus at 1 every 3 years.
- Vaccination for Feline Leukemia virus at risk
- Rabies vaccine annually or every 3 years, as required by state law. (Non adjuvanated 1 year is recommended)
PARASITE CONTROL;
- Veterinary recommended flea, tick, and heartworm control monthly all year if outside EVER. (Revolution)
- Monthly or quarterly intestinal parasite deworming if outside EVER.
- Annual or semi-annual fecal floatation.
SURGERY:
Dental healthcare and home care as needed.
NUTRITION
A premium food formulated for senior cats. We recommend Eukanuba brand foods.
HUMAN ANIMAL BOND
Wellness screening; a series of tests to allow early detections of disease.
