It is Companion Animal Care’s desire to provide wellness care for the entire patient; physical and behavioral care.  Research suggests that ~30% of companion dogs are relinquished to humane societies every year for treatable behavior problems.  The general breakdown of the human-animal bond is often due to lack of training, exercise and socialization. Companion Animal Care has stepped forward to provide a leadership role in solving this problem by hiring a professional Certified Canine Behavior Trainer, Jake Guell. 

Jake is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College, a Registered AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  He joins Companion Animal Care with five years of dedicated canine training experience including therapy dog training, clicker training, basic through advanced obedience training, trick training and in-home behavior modification.  His extracurricular activities include visiting hospitals with his therapy dog, Onyx and competing with him in Dockdogs.
